Character History.
Shakra was born in October 1981 and was never really treated as a 'normal' person. She attended a Muggle primary school where she had a few select bestfriends but never really fit in. Shakra boarded the Hogwarts Express for the first time in 1992 and was sorted into Ravenclaw after much consideration from the sorting hat. Even though she fitted in more at Hogwarts, she was still placed among the likes of Luna Lovegood and Neville Longbottom. Though a member of the DA in her fourth year, Shakra faced major moral choices on whether or not she is on the side of light or dark. She still isn;t sure.
Family History.
Shakra is a half blood and born to Josh Madden (a Muggle) and his wife Meghan (a witch). Shakra gets on with her parents, but has disowned herself from the rest of her family for reasons she does like to go into. She stays at Hogwarts for Christmas or pleads Luna to take her for the two weeks (Christmas means family). There isn't much history linked to her name and on this scale Shakra is a nobody.
Roleplay Example [At least 2 Paragraphs.]
The colour drained from Shakra's face as she finished reading the letter. Screwing it up into a ball and chucking it out the window, she fell onto her four-poster bed and howled. She felt like shooting someone, anyone. Pity she didn't have a gun...
Jumping off her bed, she ran to door of the dorm and sprinted through the almost empty common room. A few people called out to her, but she didn't stop, she needed to get out, needed to feel the wind in her soft brown hair, needed to freeze to death in the cold winter air beside the lake. She enjoyed the simple things in life...
Slipping out the large oak doors was easy; she'd been doing it since first year. Once out she wandered slowly down to the lake and threw off her trainers and socks and trailed her bare feet in the ice cold water, soaking the bottoms of her jeans. Doing things like this was one of the reasons people called her weird. She couldn't argue though; freezing your toes off was pretty strange.
Looking up, she saw a snowey white owl circle one of the towers before heading to the owlery. The night was a peace. Shakra decided to go for a swim.
