An unwanted visitor?

Rodolphus Lestrange liked knives. That was no secret. He was well trained in combat with them, his Father had taught him as a boy, but his favourite way of using them was to torture his muggle 'toys' which he did with his wife, Bellatrix. He had an extensive collection which ranged from tiny little blades to large broadswords, many were even historical artefacts. Being stupidly rich helped of course. A combination of his family fortune and his part of the Black fortune meant he couldbuy any knife or sword he so wished. His most prized possession was a knife that Bellatrix had given him shortly after they were married, a twelve inch black black with onyx handle. Of course, she had gotten it expertly cursed so any wound inflicted by it could not be healed by magic and would leave a scar every single time. It was this specificknife that he had forgotten at the house of his sister-in-law and her Husband, Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy.

Rodolphus was not a great fan of Lucius, he often though of him as a coward who would betray anybody to save his own hide, but he tolerated the blond to please his sister-in-law and also his wife. His wife would do anything for her sister so he, in turn, would do anything for her also. He hoped to God that Narcissa would be the one to take his call when he knocked on the large front doors of Malfoy Manor. He never apparated into their home unless it was an emergency, he was a gentleman after all. He scowled as he watched the outline of a peacock, strutting across the large front lawns in the darkness. "Bloody ponce.." He snarled, referring to Lucius of course, as he waited for an elf to answer the door to him. His thick black travelling cloak was drawn tight around his body, there was quite a chill out tonight. He didn't care about the fact it was gone midnight, he expected somebody to be awake. As he had thought aboutpreviouslt, hopefully Narcissa.

Sitting in the study of his home Lucius conjured hiself a small drink. Placing his wand down on the small table next to his Leather Arm chair, He took the glass and took a small sip of the amber coloured liquid. Looking out the window and watching the moon shine in he took out his wand and flicked it. In a flash the curtains either side of the huge window closed knocking settled dust into the air.

As he stood up he stretched , Picking up his glass he left the study and made his way towards the kitchen. Almost as soon as he had closed the study door behind him a loud knock came from the front door. Raising and eyebrow and sighing he placed his glass down and made his way to the front door muttering "Who the bloody hell is it?"

Rodolphus heard Lucius muttering through the door and smirked to himself. "Let me in Lucy.." He cooed playfully, gnelty knocking on the door again and again. He loved to tease and taunt Lucius, knowing it annoyed the hel out of him. "I left my knife in there. I have no intentions of letting you keep it." He snarled, rapping harder on the door now as he got impatient. It was a cold night and he could see his breath coming out in small clouds.

Lucius snarled at the mention of the name Lucy " I Would advise shutting up Rod if you want me to let you in" He said as he reached the door and gave it a thump as a warning." What the hell were you doing that you managed to leave your knife here?" He asked as he raised his hand to open the door.

Opening the door slowly he peered around the corner and into the eyes of his guest standing on the doorstep,"Well are you going to stand there or are you going to come in?" He asked throwing the door open and walking away.

Rodolphus rolled his eyes and entered the house, kicking the lrage door closed so it slammed, the door rattling in the doorframe. He knew that would annoy the blond as the sound of the slam echoed throughout the whole manor. He smirked smugly to himself as he followed Lucius.

"What was I doing? I was showing your wife. She was admiring the work of her sister." He said as he passed him and grabbed a bottle of firewhiskey from the drinks cabinet. "Hmm.. Always have the best don't you." He smirked as he poured himself a glass of the most expensive whiskey Lucius had.

Lucius sighed as he sat down and then looked at the unwanted visitor standing in front of him. " I know there is another reason you are here, So go on and spill it" He quickly stood up and waled briskly over to the chest in the corner of the room. Opening it slowly he picked out a knife and threw it over in Rods Direction.

Walking back over to his chair he sat down again pouring himself a small drink. Taking a sip he placed the glass back down on the table and looked at Rod "Well?"

Rodolphus didn't even look up from the bottle as he side-stepped the knife that was being thrown at him, the knife buried deep into the wall now. He turned and looked at it and smirked. "Bad shot.! He winked and took a swig from the bottle before carrying his glass and the bottle over.

He sat down in the comfortable armchair and took a long drink from the glass before he refilled it. "I have no other reason. Well, maybe except for annoying you." He grinned at him. He lived to annoy Lucius, it was his most favourite thing to do.

Lucius rolled his eyes " If you must" He sighed as he looked around the room trying to find something of any interest to focus his attention on. Realising Rod was still in the room he looked at him" Are you even going to look for what you want?" He asked grabbing the bottle away from him.

"You know thats expensive stuff and hard to replace" He snarled as he placed the bottle in the drawer of the desk. "Oh come on Rod what you you want?"

Rodolphus shook his head. "Nope, I am enjoying a little drink before I go on the hunt. You better quieten down or else I will use it on you when I find it." He warned, deathly serious. He knew Lucius was a coward. He loved playing on that fact. He scowled when the bottle was taken away from him, whining like a child. "Lucyyyyy... Give me it baaaaaack."

He scoffed. "Of course I know it is expensive, why on earth do you think I picked it?" He grinned cheekily, downing his glass before drawing his wand and acciong the bottle back in his hand. He calmly poured another. "I told you what I want."

Lucius snarled once again as the bottle flew out of the drawer and back over to Rod. Standing up and walking past Rod and out of the room he slammed the door loudly behind him. " Go on your hunt then, See if i care!" He shouted loudly as he walked down the hall.

Entering the kitchen and pouring himself a glass of water, He sat down at the table and placed his head in his hands sighing to himself.
